Everything we do impacts our environment: Many of our everyday activities such as driving, lighting our homes, or purchasing consumer products, have a negative impact on the environment. As our population grows, so does the degree of impact on our planet. As a result, Powered by Tea strives to create as little negative impact as possible.

For us, sustainable living is a way of life, so it made sense to operate our business with the same focus. Our Founder was raised in a home where he was taught about the environment and what he could do as an individual to lower his impact on the planet. It was a natural transition into adulthood to continue those practices both personally and professionally.

Here are some of the things we are doing:

Energy
We operate our company facilities with 100% wind power provided by Pacific Power. We also purchase energy efficient office and manufacturing equipment with long replacement lifecycles to minimize waste.

Recycling
We recycle paper, cardboard, glass, aluminum, plastic and other recyclable products at all times. It is an easy step to take to limit our company's waste.

Packaging
Our packaging is low impact and recyclable. All of our packaging materials are manufactured and printed in the United States.

Operations
Keep it digital. -We communicate and store information in digital format whenever possible. Therefore, we limit our use of paper products to a bare minimum.

Distribution
We are working to create the most efficient distribution methods to reach our customers quickly and effectively. Our distribution plan will grow with our company to maintain efficiency.

Portland
We are proud to call Portland our home, where sustainable business and healthy lifestyles are a way of life.
